Wi-th the objective to regain the erstwhile Kukigam (Kuki-land) that allegedly existed before the British invasion, the KRA was set up on December 29, 1999 under the leadership of late K Hangsing, Misao said. He further claimed that Kukigam covers Chittago-ng hill tracts of Bangladesh, Saigang division of Myan-mar and several parts of India.
