IMPHAL, Jul 21 : Manipuri Department of Manipur University will conduct entrance test for admission to MA in Manipuri for the session 2008-09 on July 23 at 11 am. Candidates may collect admit cards by showing original documents upto July 22, said a press release.
Chemistry Department also informed the concerned students that admission test for admission to MSc 1st semester would be held at 11:30 am on July 25. The department also informed the eligible candidates to collect admit cards between July 16 and 24.
English Department also informed the students that the entrance test for admmission to MA in English will be held on July 23 at 11:30 am. The department further informed that candidates must bring their original certificates, mark sheets and all necessary documents for verification at the time of collecting admit cards. Candidates must also use black or blue ball pen only in the examination, said a press release.

ATPHA threatens
IMPHAL, Jul 21: All Tribal Physically Handicappeds’ Association (ATPHA) has threatened to call a total bandh from 6 pm of July 28 to 6 pm of July 30 if the State Government fails to fulfil their demands by July 28. It is was today warned in a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister demanding increase of financial assistance, unemployment allowance, scholarship and conveyance allowance. The association also urged to institute a separate independent department for physically challenged persons and nominate State Channelising Agency (SCA).
