IMPHAL, Apr 26: The community hall constructed at P Khonuamphai village in Sangaikot area of Churachandpur district under the military civic action programme of the 27 Sector Assam Rifles has been inaugurated by the unit’s Commander Brig Rajeev Pant today.
during the community hall hand-over programme, the Commander interacted with the locals and reaffirmed stationing of security forces in the area to help the society progress and live peacefully, said a PIB (DW) release while adding that about 40 plastic chairs were also donated for usage in the community hall that would facilitate multi-purpose activities.
The release also re-highlighted similar welfare projects undertaken under the MCA in different parts of the district.

IMPHAL, Apr 26:3 Assam Rifles under 27 Sector AR handed over 12 solar lanterns and one street light to the village authorities and schools of Hengkot, Kaljang and Sanaikot villages, said the PRO of Assam Rifles in a statement today.
The battalion also constructed a children park at New Lamka Churachandpur. The park was inaugurated by Commander of 27 Sector in the presence of public leaders, Zomi Mothers’ Association members, school children and parents yesterday.
