MUTSU boycott’s MU tribal guest lecturer

Imphal, Nov 11: The Manipur University Tribal Students' Union, MUTSU, has boycotted C Mathew Kamei, a guest lecturer of the history department of Manipur University for violating the restrictions and directives imposed by the tribal students' organisations of Manipur.

The MUTSU president Sonthang Haokip and another students body leader Humaliabou, said that C Mathew Kamei had appeared in the October 7 to 8 interview conducted by the Manipur University authorities which was boycotted by the tribal students organisation in Manipur.

C Mathew Kamei is at present attending the university as a guest lecturer in the history department. Sonthang Haokip and Humaliabou said that in today's MUTSU meeting it had been resolved that C Mathew Kamei will be boycotted by the tribal students of the institute from November 11 onwards for going against the directives of the tribal students' bodies.

The MUTSU leaders appealed to all like minded organisations to extend cooperation to the MUTSU in this regard.

  1. MUTSU do the right thing. When the Students dare to sacrified their education for the cause of the Tribal's Future, two tribal dare to accept the appointment as a guest lectural. They are thinking only for their stomach. Kik them out.
